Hey,

Getting ready for an exciting year ahead requires some inspiration and, for sure, data insights.

You're in the right place to stay engaged and find ideas for your next campaign. As you hit the drawing board, check out our Global Issues Index report showcasing the most-searched-for societal issues, like mental health, global warming, insurance, and personal finance.

Then stick around for some pop culture trivia!

Climate Change: It's Heating Up

In 2023, U.S. searches for global warming were on the rise.

Semrush reveals that "climate change effects" searches increased by 800% from 2022—"global warming facts for kids" caught the same boost. The El Niño phenomenon also saw a staggering 528.6% surge since July 2022.

Numbers speak volumes, and we believe it's time to focus on the environment. Are you using your voice??

Insurance Trends: Protecting What Counts

We can't insure against global warming, but there are some things we can protect.

Since June 2021, "Travel Insurance" in the U.S. took off with 129,160 average monthly searches, an 82.7% increase. But the UK is packing more bags (or at least insuring them) as the term skyrocketed 809.5% during the same time.

Let's not forget our four-legged friends; "Pet Insurance" is the second most-searched insurance in the UK, growing by 22.3% from September 2021. Because they deserve the best, right?

Money Matters: Securing Your Future

Got money on your mind? You're not alone.

Searches for "when will recession end" soared 35,900% from January 2020 to May 2023. As people strive to make their financial futures bright, searches for retirement and savings accounts ballooned. The term "401k Roth vs. 401k" grew 7,900%! Check out more here.

Now, a pop quiz:

Do you know the "end of the world movie where corn dies"? How about the "movie where Leonardo di Caprio is squinting"? If you need a little laugh, learn how people search for some of the most famous movies here, or check out the fun on our latest YouTube show.

Data helps us make sense of what's happening around us. And it just might be an excellent source of inspiration for your next marketing campaign!

Stay curious,
