6 Common Stages Of Intimacy

Being aware of the processes in a marriage can help you realize which you and your partner have reached, helping explain what might seem to be strange in behavior. They can help in your journey to a healthy relationship; you can find 6 relationship stages, as follows:

"OMG, where did you come from? You are perfection!" stage

During this initial stage each partner are hoping to get along and please one another; you both are trying to make things work out. At that stage, neither of you will have seen your respective bad sides since you'll have both showed only your best sides. This is the place where we usually are in love, and see only the best qualities of the partner.

Disappointment stage

During this stage you each start noticing the differences between the two of you. Conflicts start arising however they are easily solved fast most of the time. At this stage we see things a lot more clear as we taking off our "pink" sunglasses. Through this stage, the partners either deal with this or find you breaking apart.

Molding stage

Partners accept and appreciate each other's weak sides; they don't use force and mentality realize that love brings not only joy to their life, but sometimes it makes them struggle.

The stability stage

If your relationship survives the previous stage, both partners relax their boundaries and realize that they'll never alter the other person completely. They start appreciate each other more giving mutual respect and deeper love feelings.

Resurfacing stage

Partners give up to reality and believe that relationships too have their defects. This is when they discover how to love one another and definitely feel connection with each other. This is the time when you're both ready to commit long term relationship.

Trust stage

This is actually the final stage; trust becomes unbreakable. Couples start working on projects, and they also turn into strong team; this becomes really obvious to all around them.

Let's say you falter at one of 6 stages.

Communication is a vital thing here. Pay attention to your second half; let him/her speak first without interrupting thus air out your issues. You recognize that may be sometimes you feel different and have different points of view on many things. Always try to find a way to understand your partner's point of view or opinion instead of trying to change him or her.
