You can purchase disposable ones. After using it for one preparation process, you have to throw it away because it is no longer effective. Reusable ones are more expensive. But they would keep you from purchasing over and over again which means that it would be more cost effective.

These are also things that you can use as protective layers for your freezer. Through this, you can get rid of the thick ice immediately. And it would also protect the machine from spills.
