How To Carry Out An Airbrush Suntan Tips

By Haywood Hunter

If there is a much faster way of making your skin stunt and healthier, then it is through airbrush suntan. You will go through this process without exposing your skin to the damages of direct sun rays. What would have been obtained from the sun for a long period can now be obtained within a few minutes, from right inside the house.

As you prepare for the process of airbrushing, it is mandatory to get a shower first. This will enable any dirt and deadly cells to be washed away. This in turn brings out a clean skin which is best suitable for brushing.

The skin should not be applied with any moisturizer or oil as this will be a hindrance to the process. A moist skin may not enable the airbrush liquid to stick to it, rather is will just streak down. Proper drying of the skin is the best thing that one needs to do.

The first thing to do is to get off any heavy clothing and remain with loose garment that does not cover a large skin surface. This is vital as it will help you in getting a complete tan coverage. Even the drying process will be faster if you wear loose clothing.

Start the brushing of the first layer from the foot as you move upper to the knee area. After this layer dries up, another addition can be added gently. The shade will however determine whether to add up more layers or use the initial layer.

The next areas to be tanned are the thighs and the upper body in general. When it comes to the arms and elbows, more care should be taken so that creasing issues do not arise. Light pressure application is the best option in these areas as too much pressure will cause an overlap of the tan.

Both the neck and the entire shoulders also ought to get equally the same tanning procedure. More pressure is at the back as it is not easy to reach all the angles alone. In this case, engage a friend who can help out in completing the process.

Putting your legs and arms open helps in facilitating the drying process. This is to try and avoid the skin being in contact with other areas until it dries up entirely. It is even better if you use a blow dryer as this will aid in the process of drying.

Moisturizer can then be used to keep the tan stay fresh, after it dries up. In order to enable your tan stay in a perfect state, a light soap wash could be used. However, skin exfoliation should be out of the picture to avoid interfering with the tan.

Applying a tan extender cream is another important part of airbrush sun tan as it helps the tan to stay for a longer time. Alcoholic application should however be avoided because it can result to un-planned removal of the tan due to its effect on the skin. With proper care, you can take up to two or three weeks before another re application.
